following places:
- Ignition switch
- Spark plugs
- Fuel tank cap
- Throttle body
- Fuel injection system
- Brake master cylinder
- Once the dirt has been completely removed, rinse off the detergent
with running water.
- After rinsing, wipe off the motorcycle with a wet chamois or cloth

Waxing the Motorcycle
After washing the motorcycle, waxing and polishing are recommended to
further protect and beautify the paint.
- Only use waxes and polishes of good quality.
- When using waxes and polishes, observe the precautions specified
by the manufacturers.
Inspection after Cleaning
For extended life of your motorcycle, lubricate according to
"LUBRICATION POINTS" section in your Owner's manual.
WARNING
Wet brakes can cause poor braking performance and may lead to an
accident.
Avoid a possible accident by expecting longer stopping distances after
washing your motor-cycle. Apply brakes several times to let heat dry the
brake pads or shoes.
Follow the procedures in the "INSPECTION BEFORE RIDING"
section in your Owner's Manual to check your motorcycle for any problems
that may have arisen during your last ride.
